Lochwood Appliance Repair ("we", "us") is an appliance repair company in Dallas, TX. This website explains what we do and lets visitors ask for a call back. We collect only what that needs, use it only for that, and never sell it or share it for advertising.
What We Collect
| Information | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Your name and phone number | When you send the request form | To call you back about your request |
| The service type and the short description you write | When you send the form | To understand the job and prepare for the call |
| Technical details sent with a form (page, date and time, IP address, browser type) | Automatically with a submission | To tell real requests from spam |
| Server logs (IP address, pages requested, browser type) | On every visit, kept by our hosting provider | To deliver the website and keep it secure |
The site has no accounts, no advertising and no analytics or tracking scripts.
Cookies
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. It works normally with cookies blocked.
How We Use Your Information
- To call you back about your request.
- To prepare a quote, schedule and do the work, and keep the records a business needs.
- To filter spam and protect the site.
We do not build marketing lists and we do not send newsletters.
Who Processes It
Your information is seen by the people at Lochwood Appliance Repair who handle calls and scheduling. It is also processed by service providers that work only on our behalf: our website hosting provider (Netlify), which receives the form, and the phone services we use to call you back. Beyond that, we share it only when the law requires it.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are used in United States state privacy laws. There is nothing to opt out of. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and offer an opt-out first.
Your Choices and Rights
- Access and correction: you can ask what we have about you and have it corrected.
- Deletion: you can ask us to delete it, unless we must keep a job record for accounting, tax or legal reasons.
- Calling instead: you never have to use the form. You can always call us instead.
To make a request, call (817) 687-1675. We may ask you to confirm the phone number the request concerns.
How Long We Keep It
We keep form requests only as long as we need them to call you back and handle the job. Job records are kept as long as accounting, tax or legal rules require. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited time.
Security
The website is served over HTTPS only, so what you send through the form is encrypted on the way to us. No method of sending or storing information is perfectly secure, but we limit who can see it.
Children
This website is meant for adults arranging appliance repair work. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to This Policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the effective date at the top.
